What is the Changan New Vehicles Warranty

To secure the customer's peace of mind and an exciting owning experience of Changan vehicles, Changan will guarantee the vehicle operation under certain conditions. We would like to inform you of a brief explanation of the NEW VEHICLE WARRANTY here to provide you with an idea of each customer's benefits. However, for details we would like to ask your confirmation in the Warranty booklet provided to each customer with the vehicle delivery.

WARRANTY PERIOD

New Vehicle Warranty Period

The period for the New Vehicle Warranty is the following designated period of time or specified mileage, starting from the date that the vehicle is first registered or put into service whichever comes first.

PERIOD: 10 years.

MILEAGE: 500,000 km.

Pay Back & trade in policy

depreciation for first year 15%, second year 10%, third year 10%,fourth year 10%,fifth year 8%m after estimation.

WHY CHANGAN

INVESTMENT IN R&D

Each year Changan invests 5% of its annual sales revenue in product R&D and the total investment has amounted to RMB 49.6 billion during the 11th and 12th five-year plan periods. Changan invested 2 billion RMB and built an international standard vehicle test field in Chongqing Dianjiang District.

1. The investment covers crash safety, brake perfomance, chasis tests, NVH and drive system.
2. Internationally advanced laboratories: national key laboratories in vehicle noise vibration and safety technology, national and local joint engineering laboratories for hybird-powered pasenger cars

TAKING THE LEAD IN R&D CAPABILITY

According to an assessment made by the NDFC (National Development and Reform Commission, the state-acknowledged technical center), Changan scored 93.6, ranking third of the automotive industry and its R&D capability taking the first position of the industry continuously for ten years.
Changan has applied for a total of 10.311 patents including 2.918 patens of invention (as od 2018.04).
